In view of recent reports of illegal transactions (Sale/Lease/License) involving properties of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), falsely representing themselves as either the property owners or agents of SAIL-RSP, the authorities have cautioned against engaging in any such transactions.
The public have been informed and cautioned against engaging in any transactions related to Properties (Land/Building/Houses) with the Lessee/Licensee of Steel Authority of India Limited, Rourkela Steel Plant (SAIL-RSP) without its explicit consent.
The General public is also strongly advised to exercise caution and refrain from entering into any dealings with such individuals. In the event that anyone occupies SAIL-RSP properties through such transactions, legal action under the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act 1971 will be initiated against the trespasser at their own cost and risk.
Moreover, it has been observed that some unscrupulous persons are engaging in unlawful activities on RSP Land, including: Encroachment on RSP Land and Vacant Quarters, Placing unauthorized Kiosks and Thelas, Erecting Flex Posters, Hoarding, etc., in the RSP area without any authorization.
All individuals involved in such activities are hereby cautioned to cease their illegal activities immediately. Failure to comply will result in strict penal action in accordance with the law and/or Company Policy, and the individuals will be held liable at their own risk and cost.
The SAIL, RSP authorities urge the public to verify the authenticity of any transaction or dealing related to its properties and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
