Chhattisgarh Chief Minister-designate Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday prayed at the Ram Mandir on VIP Road here for peace and prosperity in the region.
Sai, the prominent tribal face of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the state, was on Sunday elected the legislature party leader by BJP MLAs here.
"I wish that Chhattisgarh reaches a key position in terms of inclusive growth of all sections of the society and development in the country," Sai said.
On Sunday, Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan invited 59-year-old Sai to form the new government.
