Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday paid tributes to India's first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Ministerr Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his death anniversary.
Chief Minister Sai stated that Sardar Patel was known as the Iron Man for his strong determination.
“He played a crucial role in the integration of princely states into the Indian Union, demonstrating his steadfast commitment to the unity of the nation,” he said.
“During the struggle for independence, he skillfully led various movements. The role of Sardar Patel in the nation-building will always remain in the memory of people of India.”
