--On theme “Women Entrepreneurship Development Program”: A webinar on the theme "Women Entrepreneurship Development Programme", was inaugurated here on November 14. The programme after all 42 sessions from various resources persons belonging to industries, academics, MSME, trainers from DIC, IPOs from DIC, office bearers belonging to pharmaceutical sectors, drugs control department, finance and banking persons expressed their views. Faculty members Prof Madhusmruti Khandai and Prof Rashmi Ranjan Sarangi Royal College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (RCPHS) also joined the webinar.
The sessions focused on few points like what are the challenges, opportunities, how to use digital platforms, manage finance to make big profits, reduce gender gaps, promote women centric business plans in order to develop entrepreneurship etc. Few resource persons also highlighted the gaps that result in huge loss basically during pandemics like Covid-19.
Around 120 delegates comprising students, staff of the college, local residents and inter-State participants appreciated the programme and its concepts. Few speakers also expressed their ideas on how male counterparts can help to support the ideas of women for all-round development. Few speakers also dedicated their training session focused on concepts followed by other countries to encourage women to develop their very own enterprise with out of box thinking approaches.
The valedictory session of the programme was held on December 8 where the chief speaker Indu Sabu delivered a beautiful talk focusing "Sustainable Development Goals: Focus on Achieving gender equality and empower all women and girls."
