Court of Nineteenth Additional Sessions Judge/Special Special Judge, Bhopal, Rashmi Mishra sentenced rape accused of ten years of rigorous imprisonment.

Raju Lodhi, accused of rape under section 376 (2) for committing wrongdoing on the pretext of marriage. After finding the accused Raju Lodhi guilty in the Indian Penal Code, the decision has been passed to sentence the accused Raju Lodhi to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment under Section 376 (2)(n) of the Indian Penal Code and a fine of Rs 5,000, in case of non-payment of the fine, an additional rigorous imprisonment of 06 months.

In the case, the government has been represented by Special Public Prosecutor Deepti Patel and Manisha Patel.

On December 2, 2015, the mother of the victim lodged a missing complaint with the police.

Based on the complaint a  case under section 363 of Indian Penal Code was registered and investigation was started.

During the investigation, on December 7 the victim was rescued and in her statements she revealed that Raju alias Deepak Lodhi was sexually exploiting her for several and after the medical examination of the accused case under section 366, 376 (2) of Indian Penal Code and section 3 and 6 of sexual offenses of POCSO Act were registered against the accused.

On the basis of evidence, the Court has punished the accused Raju Lodhi with 10 years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 5,000 under Section 376 (2) (n) of the Indian Penal Code.

Meanwhile Court of 6th Additional Sessions Judge Rajeev K Pal has sentenced accused DK Kapoor and Saroj Kapoor for 3 years of rigorous imprisonment.

Accused were been booked under Section 13(2) and 3(1)E Prevention of Corruption Act.

 accused DK Kapoor and Saroj Kapoor were sentenced to 3 years rigorous imprisonment under Section 13(2) R,W, Prevention of Corruption Act.

Information was received that the then Additional Commissioner of Madhya Pradesh Housing Board, Bhopal, accused D.K. Kapoor been acquired massive wealth through illegal means while holding a government post.
