Prime Minister Modi for making 2 crore Didis lakhpati

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that it is my vision to see at least 2 crore Didis associated with self-help groups to become lakhpati. The country will be prosperous only when rural women earn prosperity. He said that confident mothers and sisters are going to make the country self-reliant.

Prime Minister  Modi virtually interacted with Rubina Bi of Dewas district in Madhya Pradesh through VC in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programme on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Modi talked to Rubina Bi about her struggle, benefits received from the government schemes and the achievements. Chief Minister Yadav joined in the programme through VC at the Mantralaya.Narrating how her life became confortable, Rubina told Prime Minister Modi that she joined the self-help group of Livelihood Mission in 2017. She took a loan of Rs 5 thousand and started selling clothes. Income from selling clothes started increasing. After this, she bought a Maruti van by obtaining loan from the group and the bank and started selling clothes and cutlery items from village to village. When financial situation improved, she took a loan from the bank and bought a Tavera car, which also provided employment to her son. After profiting from Maruti and Tavera, Rubina Bi opened a readymade clothes shop in Dewas. Today earning has touched Rs 20 to 25 thousand. Her husband is engaged in the work of goat rearing, sons operate Tavera and van and she runs a clothes shop.

Besides, she is also working as CRP in Livelihood Mission. Prime Minister Modi greeted Rubina for indomitable courage and the spirit of marching on. He also motivated Smt. Rubina to provide higher education to her daughters and move ahead.

Prime Minister Modi said that Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra's aim of making efforts to ensure that the benefits of major schemes reach out to the eligible persons.

Prime Minister Modi said that Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra should be made a festival of village-to-village development, those who do not have their own houses should get houses, those who did not get gas cylinders should get cylinders and those who were deprived of health services due to some reason they should get Ayushman card. In this way, every eligible person and family should get the benefits of all the schemes of the Government of India. Prime Minister Modi also interacted with the beneficiaries of Uttarakhand, Tripura, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu.

Prime Minister Modi called for providing the benefits of Central Government's welfare schemes and campaigns like PM Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, PM Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana, Abha Health ID Card, Namo Drone Didi Yojana, One District-One Product and Vocal for Local to the beneficiaries during the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. He said that giving rights to those who deserve it is an act of virtue.

Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilisers and Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, in his welcome address, highlighted the vision, objectives and current status of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. A short film based on the progress, publicity and achievements of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was also screened.
