Under the All India Tree Plantation Campaign,172nd Battalion CRPF deployed at Garhwa, planted 600 saplings at at their stationed headquarter
On the occasion CRPF Commandant Nripendra Kumar Singh, while discussing the need and importance of tree plantation said that on one hand the environment will be safe and protected and on the other hand the message of "Green Earth" will continue to flourish. He asked each jawan to plant at least one tree and take a vow to serve it continuously.
On this occasion Second Commanding Officer of the Battalion, Shri U.K. R. Rameswaram, Sub Comm.. Dr. Aastha Kohli, S.M.O. Dr. Shanky Chandok, and subordinate officers and jawans were planted saplings.
