Pandian visits  Kendrapada, reviews projects

5T Chairman VK Pandian on Monday visited Kendrapada district and reviewed different developmental projects, including an under construction bridge at Keredagada- Ekamania and revamp of temples under the 5T initiatives.

He also addressed public gatherings at several places, including Keredagada Jagannath temple, Gopalpur Chowk, Madanpur Chowk, IB Chowk at Pattamundai, Gogua and Tinimuhani, while he was proceeding from Rajnagar  to Tulashi Khetra’s Lord Baladevjew temple to have a darshan of Sandhya Arati of Lord Baladevjew. He too addressed public gatherings at Ichhapur-based Ratha  Danda.

A motorcycle rally was organised  to welcome Pandian at Tinimuhani  to Ichhapur Ratha Danda by giving a warm welcome to him. The motorbike rally in which thousands of BJD supporters and leaders participated passed through the Kendrapada town main road. While addressing to the media, Pandian stated that Odisha, under the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, is making remarkable progress in various fields. “Let’s work together to fulfil Hon’ble Chief Minister’s dream, and see a transformed Odisha. United, we can achieve everything for Odisha it deserves,” he said.

CM Naveen Patnaik has disbursed a sum of Rs 135 crore, including an estimated sum of Rs 59.87 crore for Keredagada-Ekamania bridge, in last six months under 5T initiatives.

Pandian took a stock of the ongoing bridge construction work and discussed with the technical team. He stated that with the construction of the bridge it would connect Aul and Rajnagar blocks and around 3 lakh people would get proper communication facilities.

Pandian also reviewed the facelift work of Keredagagada –Jagannath temple underway with a sum of Rs 3 crore.

He also informed that  CM has allocated  a sum of Rs 5 crore for Bayababa Mutt, a sum of Rs 22 crore for the development of Satabhaya Panchubarahi temple and  Bagapatia resettlement colony, Rs 2.25 crore each for the development of Rajnagar and Pattamundai Colleges and Rs 26 crore for Ama Odisha Naveen Odisha under Rajnagar Assembly segment.
