5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman VK Pandian on Saturday inspected the Shreemandir Parikrama Project in Puri and reviewed queue management and traffic control around the temple for smooth and safe entry of pilgrims into the temple.
Some key decisions were taken and directives were given accordingly.
Pandian emphasised on substantial progress on Dolabedi restoration, Emar Mutt, Panjabi Mutt and Uttarparswa Mutt development and façade painting around the Parikrama.
He reviewed the landscaping done in different patches of south, west and north and directed to complete the buffer zones and other landscaping zones on all sides by next week.
He also wanted completion of the effluent treatment plant and garbage chutes and shifting of the electric sub-station near the Meghanad Pacheri on time.
