Over 2000 people participate in marathon organised by SBI

SBI organised a marathon to promote a healthy lifestyle among the society to inculcate awareness, how individuals can stay healthy & fit while also being financially strong. SBI regularly introduces new financial schemes and ongoing schemes to ensure that its customers remain financially strong.

The "Run for Health-2.0" marathon showcased SBI's responsiveness to its customers, providing them with not only financial support but also social and personal empowerment, which is an ongoing process. The marathon was participation from over 2000 individuals from various sectors of the city out of 300 HNIs police personal and others. The marathon was in three categories: 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km, with enthusiastic participation.

The marathon was attributed presence of dignitaries and individuals from different departments including the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), UNICEF, State Level Bankers' Committee (SLBC), prominent Banks in Bhopal, government officials, over 300 Madhya Pradesh Police officers and jawans as well as officers and personnel from the military, CISF, and individuals from various sectors of Bhopal.

Individuals present at this event included Binod Kumar Mishra, Deputy Managing Director & CGM SBI Bhopal Circle, Kalpana Srivastava (Principle Secretary, Government of Madhya Pradesh), Vijay Kataria (Additional Director General, Madhya Pradesh Police), Vinit Kapoor, IPS (PSO to DGP), Bhawna Dehriya (First Lady Mount Everest Climber from Madhya Pradesh), Margaret Gwada from UNICEF among many other respected individuals & officials. These individuals shared their thoughts on the importance of fitness and health and gave message hastag #WeAreWithSBIBHO & #ForEveryChildEveryRight.

"Run for Health-2.0" marathon successfully achieved its objective of promoting a healthy & fit lifestyle and financial well-being among the participants, while serving as a platform for social and personal empowerment.

The program was also attended by SBI ladies club president Asha Mishra, General Managers of Bhopal Circle Kundan Jyoti, Ajitav Parashar, Neeraj Prasad. Meanwhile Deepak Kumar Jha, DGM & CirDO, Lokesh Chandra DGM (B&O) Bhopal Module along with all other Deputy General Managers and top officials were also present.

Binod Kumar Mishra said that through the marathon program SBI is promoting its marketing efforts. It also works as a platform for the Bank to spread the message about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and the importance of fitness.

This event was an initiative by SBI for building a healthy and fit prosper society in a whole.
