Nilamber Pitamber university has finally announced the date of its PhD entrance test. The last date for filing for the test is February 22 and exactly a month later the entrance test for PhD is to be taken.
The university has fixed 1,500 rupees for the general and OBC aspirants while for the SC, ST, PwD and EWS aspirants it is only 1,000 rupees.
The PhD entrance test, if it really happens, will be the second one after a gap of 5 years or so.
It was the registrar of the NP university Dr Rakesh Kumar who in his report card of the university on its 13th establishment day had announced about the entrance test for PhD in February when in the same function the vice chancellor Dr Ram Lakhan Singh had publicly admitted that this NPU has made only 'turtle move' and not of the 'rabbit move' and this VC said as if he owes no accountability for tardy progress or development of the university.
