More than 4000 doctors, more than 6500 nursing officers, 2000 paramedical staff and 150 ambulances are available in the district, 30 oxygen plants with capacity of more than 21 thousand liters are operational.
There is a provision of more than 1000 oxygen concentrators and more than 5000 oxygen cylinders in the district. All necessary medicines, masks and PPE kits are also available in sufficient numbers.
CMHO Dr. Prabhakar Tiwari said that there is no need to fear Covid but vigilance is necessary. All major government and private medical colleges and hospitals have adequate capacity for liquid oxygen storage.
