Cong holds free eye camp on rahul’s b’day
New Delhi: The Delhi Congress on Monday extended its wishes to party leader Rahul Gandhi on his 53rd birthday. Delhi Congress president Anil Kumar held free eye testing camp at his office in the Kichripur Village, in the Patparganj and a team of eminent eye specialist doctors conducted the eye-testing camp while Delhi Congress vice president and senior Dalit leader Jai Kishan alongwith party workers distributed fruits and medicines to patients admitted in Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, Bhagwan Mahavir Hospital, Maharishi Valmiki Hospitals. Jai Kishan also distributed sports materials to promote sportsmanship. He also appealed his workers to follow Rahul Gandhi’s path.
Aiwc’s conference on countering hate speech
New Delhi: On the occasion of the ‘International Day for Countering Hate Speech’ the All India Women’s Conference organised a conference on ‘Countering hate speech.’ Many eminent personalities shared their views and condemned the rising incidents of hate speech. Kunwar Shankar Vijay, Nikhilesh Ojha, Husain Bandi Imam, Sheriena Joshi, AJ Philip were the guest speakers. Kalyani Raj, president AIWC, Dr .Manju Kak, Secretary General and Treasurer Dr Upasana Singh also shared their views on the topic.
LG approves appointments of doctors/officers
New Delhi: Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has approved the appointment of various doctors / medical officers in the A&U Tibbia College & Hospital and the Directorate of AYUSH in the Delhi Government. According to a release by Raj Niwas, four medical officers (Unani) in the Directorate, 11 Assistant Professors in the A&U Tibbia College are all set to get appointed. In addition to this, four Non-Teaching Specialists Gr.III in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Microbiology / Bacteriology are all set to be appointed in the Indira Gandhi Hospital, Dr. BSA Hospital, Lok Nayak Hospital and Guru Nanak Eye Centre.
