As per the instructions of NCC Directorate and Group Headquarters, Bhopal, CATC-21st (CATC-XXI) camp was organized by 4 MP NCC Battalion from December 9 to 18, 2023 at CAPT Kanha Saiya.
In this camp, along with the preparation for the NCC A, B and C certificate examination to be held in 2024, the students in the camp were given exposure to various activities of the Indian Army like firing, drill, disaster management, fire safety and physical efficiency, map reading and personality development.
Training was given for which guides and subject experts were invited from various institutions. On the last day of the camp, Group Commander Brigadier Ajit Singh inspected the camp and received information about the camp from all the cadets, in which all the cadets appreciated the entire camp and requested that such camps should be organized from time to time in future also so that more and more students get the opportunity to join the Indian Army.
In the end, out of about 400 who participated in the camp, Camp Commandant Colonel Ajay Kohli said that about Medals were awarded to 120 cadets for their excellent activities. The cadets who achieved first, second and third position in all the activities were given gold medals, the ones securing second position were given silver medals and the ones securing third position were given branch medals.
While addressing the closing address of the camp, the Camp Commandant guided all the students to maintain these activities in their lives and take their lives to excellence in the interest of the country.
