Monday, 18 December 2023 | Staff Reporter | RAIPUR

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said on Sunday that the Naxalite problem will be completely eliminated soon with the cooperation of the Central government.

“The martyrdom of the soldiers will not go in vain,” he said.

Sai paid tribute to Sub-Inspector Sudhakar Reddy, who was killed by Naxalites in Sukma district on Sunday. He told the officials to provide every possible assistance to the family of the martyr.

Sai held an emergency meeting with the Director General of Police (DGP), Ashok Juneja, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain and other senior officials here.

He directed the officials to speed up the operation against the Naxalite and told the DGP to personally monitor the operation. Sai strongly said the Naxalites were panicking due to the recent change in government in Chhattisgarh.
