Chhattisgarh Police demolished a 30-foot-high Naxalite monument in Bijapur district, police said on Sunday.
The District Reserve Guard (DRG) of Bijapur, the Mahila Commando and DRG of Dantewada razed the monument built in Dumripalnar Forest.
The action was taken as part of a Naxalite eradication campaign. Massive search operations are also underway in the entire district.
