AIIMS Bhopal reached another milestone by signing a MOU with Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana Banglore, Popularly known as S-VYASA.
MOU was signed by Prof Dr Ajai Singh, the Executive Director, AIIMS Bhopal, and Chancellor, S-VYASA, Padamshree Dr HR Nagendra.
During the Ceremony, Prof Dr Rajesh Malik, Dean (academics), Dean of student welfare Prof Dr Balakrishanan S, and Prof Dr Vijendra Singh, Professor, and Head, of Psychiatry, and other professors and heads of departments were also present.
The MOU signing ceremony was coordinated by Dr Rachna Parashar, who also is the Nodal officer for the execution of this MOU. During her introduction and coordinating addressal, she also emphasized that Integrative health care can only be developed and delivered with acceptance and awareness of the Integrative Health care approach among clinicians.
Executive Director, AIIMS Bhopal addressed and reinforced the importance of Integrative health care. He narrated the role of the Integrative health care approach in a chronic condition known as Osteoarthritis, which is an aging disease of weight-bearing joints.
