Unidentified miscreants robbed a person of mobile phone and cash near Comfort Park Colony in the night on Friday; complainant was going to his home when three miscreants in an auto rickshaw came and robbed him, Ayodhya Nagar police have started searching for the accused.
Then three unknown miscreants appeared in the autorickshaw and blocked victim Umesh Prasad's way and demanded money he was carrying and when he refused to provide the money the three forcefully took his mobile phone and cash and escaped the spot.
The complainant approached the police and lodged a complaint. Based on the complaint police have registered a case against unknown miscreants.
TI Nilesh Awasthi told that Umesh is a resident of Arjun Nagar and works as a welder. On Friday at around 9.30 in the evening he went to the market to buy goods and while he was returning from the market three miscreants in an autorickshaw blocked his way and when Umesh asked the reason for stopping the road, they asked to take money he was carrying, on which Umesh refused to give money.
All three started threatening Umesh. After this, they snatched the mobile phone and Rs 10000 cash from his pocket. After this, he reached the police station and registered a case of robbery against three unknown miscreants. The police have registered a case and are searching for the accused.
