Misrod police arrested three members of a gang involved in half a dozen incidents of theft and robbery; accused gang members used to target shops, houses and steal vehicles, a recovery of Rs 7.5 of stolen valuables have been recovered from the accused.
The accused used to keep the master key to steal the vehicle. The gang had earlier targeted Habibganj, Hanumanganj, Shahjanabad, G.R.P including police station Misrod. In Bhopal and Satlapur Raisen, incidents of theft and burglary have been committed.
They used to target shops, houses and vehicles parked in parking lots during the day and when they got the opportunity, they used to carry out incidents by breaking locks.
Among the incidents on December 18 the complainant came to the police station Misrod and reported that electrical fittings and AC items were stolen from an under construction house at Hanuman Nagar Misrod during the night. On the report of theft of pipe by an unknown thief, a crime was registered and taken up for investigation.
On December 26 an Apache motorbike was stolen. On December 9 electronic equipment, jewelery and other household items were burgled from Defense City Colony, Bangarasia.
Two vehicles were stolen from Habibganj and Hanumanganj.
During the investigation near Samardha Purana Bridge three persons were detained who were identified as Akash Kumre alias Cobra resident Raisen, Shani alias Shanni Malviya, resident of Vidisha and Abhishek Tiwari, resident of Vidisha.
During the day, they used to track deserted houses, shops and vehicles parked in the parking lot. At the time of day/night, they used to commit the crime by breaking the locks of the shop, house and motorcycle and using the master key.
