A ‘Facilitation Cell’ named ‘MedTech MITRA’, was launched virtually by Union Minister, Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, on December 25, 2023, in the presence of Prof SP Singh Bhagel, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare.
The aim of MedTech MITRA is to provide holistic hand-holding support to medical technology (MedTech) innovators for the translation of their technologies from concept to commercialization. AIIMS Bhopal is part of this nationwide consortium that will provide handholding support for innovations related to medical diagnostics.
