Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that information about development and public welfare schemes should be conveyed to the people in the district, villages and wards in an easy manner, so that it becomes easy for people to understand. People should be told about the all-round development in every area of the state. CM Fellow and Chief Minister Jan-Seva Mitra are doing good work, they should be given panchayat wise responsibility. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the 5th meeting of the Governing Body of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute for Good Governance and Policy Analysis at Samatva Bhawan, Chief Minister's residence office. Co-operative and Public Service Management Minister Dr. Arvind Singh Bhadoria and Vice President of the Institute Prof. Sachin Chaturvedi, office bearers and other officers were present in the meeting.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the work undertaken by the institute to improve the quality of PhD is commendable. He said that efforts are being made to increase the GSDP of the state to $550 billion.
In the meeting, the action taken on the applications for compassionate appointment under the Chief Minister's Covid-19 Special Anugraha Yojana was approved. A provision was made to give compassionate appointment to the dependents on the death of the employee at the time of Covid-19. Along with this, approval was also given to set-up 3 new centers under this institute, in which evaluation, monitoring and impact assessment center, Bhopal International Center for Ideas and nodal center for the strategy to promote life science based economy in Madhya Pradesh. The financial accounting statement and audit report of the institute and the annual administrative report of the institute were also approved.
