A lower rung Maoist was on Sunday arrested in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh.
Mander Darro (20) was apprehended by the District Reserve Guard and the Indo-Tibetan Border Police from the forest of Turushmeta village, Narayanpur Additional Superintendent of Police Hemsagar Sidar said.
He was a Jan militia member in the Aamdai Area Committee of the outlawed Maoist group.
He was involved in murder, attempted murder, loot, arson and firing and IED blasts targeting security forces from 2021 to 2023.
