A low-intensity earthquake of 3.3 magnitude on the Richter Scale was recorded near Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh's Surguja district on Tuesday, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) said on Tuesday.
No injury was reported and there were no reports of any damage due to the tremors.
The epicenter of the tremor was 132 km north west of Ambikapur.
