Literarium’23, the Literary Festival of DPS Vasant Vihar, achieved resounding success by seamlessly blending the richness of both English and Hindi languages.
The event featured a vibrant array of activities, including skits, games, and hands-on concepts, presenting linguistic nuances in a captivating and educational manner. It entertained and educated participants and the audience alike.
The event was inaugurated by the principal, Delhi Public School R K Puram,Ms. Padma Srinivasan who partook in the celebratory literary event.
The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of eighteen schools in two categories each for Hindi and English inter-school competitions. The valedictory ceremony marked the culmination, and participating schools explored the school greens to engage in various activities.
The participative spirit of the students was evident throughout the event. The interactive sessions along with fostering a love for language also provided a platform for students to showcase their linguistic prowess. Through their active involvement, they demonstrated the effectiveness of incorporating a variety of activities to cater to diverse learning styles.
Amongst other highlights of the event was the NBT mobile library; showcasing the journey of a student’s language quest in their sojourn of learning the love for reading.
The audience loved being a part of the Doodling and Calligraphy live stations. Live poetry composition in the school greens enlivened the nascent poet in each child.
Through their participation, students gained valuable insights; expanding their linguistic horizons. Inclusion of parents in the celebration added a significant dimension to the fest, as they were not mere spectators but active participants in the joyous occasion.
Parents expressed their delight in being part of an event that not only showcased their children’s talents but also provided a unique platform for them to revisit the memories of their school time.
