Father of Bhopal's theater artist and line producer Animesh Mehta has accused the BJP leader of not paying the money for the work done in the elections and which became primary reason of the suicide by the 36-year-old artist.

He also mentioned his differences with his wife. His fellow artists have expressed grief over Animesh's death. He said that Animesh has worked as a supporting and junior artist in many films including Raajneeti, Chakravyuh, Fraud Saiyaan.

Animesh's  friend Mohit said that Animesh was continuously working on many projects. He not only acted but also worked as a line producer in many films. His passing away like this is sad for all the artists of the city. Animesh's album song shot in Himachal was released two days ago. There he worked with the shooting team. He was also performing street plays.

Father Rajendra Mehta said, 'I, my wife and grandson were at home on Monday. When Animesh came home in the afternoon, I was getting some work done in the shop downstairs. When he went upstairs around 6 in the evening, his wife told him that their son's room was closed since noon. He would often come and sleep in the afternoon. So I didn't pay attention. When I did not wake up till 7 o'clock and the lights in the room were also off, I called out. When he did not get any response, he went to the police station and informed the police. When the police opened the door, the son was found hanging from the fan.

Jahangirabad police station in-charge Ajay Tiwari said that Animesh was under depression.  The police have established a route and started an investigation. The postmortem of the body was done on Tuesday and body handed over to the family.
