Chhattisgarh High Court Justice Narendra Kumar Vyas said on Sunday that the goal of the judiciary is to ensure justice for all.
“It is our primary duty to connect people to the justice system by simplifying it and by being transparent,” he said.
“The preamble of the Indian Constitution is to secure justice, liberty and equality for all citizens and promote fraternity to maintain the unity and integrity of the nation," he said.
He said this at a programme held on the occasion of Constitution Day at the Chhattisgarh Judicial Academy.
All the district judges of the state were present. Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha is currently touring Delhi.
Justice Rakesh Kumar Pandey emphasised the importance of the Constitution and the rights it has given to the people.
On this occasion, a colloquium was held to assess the challenges faced by the judiciary and the way forward.
