International Solidarity Day was celebrated at the University Law College under the leadership of the acting Principal Rashmi Pradhan. Dr. Jaydeep Sanyal highlighted the ongoing relevance of International Human Solidarity, especially in developing countries, to promote cultural equality and social justice for human and social development. Dr. Urmila Kumari spoke about celebrating unity in diversity and addressing poverty eradication. December 20 is observed annually as International Human Solidarity Day to raise public awareness about the values of solidarity and encourage governments to fulfill their responsibilities under international agreements, urging new efforts for poverty eradication.
Dr. Laxmi Singh expressed gratitude, and students actively participated in activities promoting voter awareness at the University Law College. Additionally, during the National Women's Journey, a new voter youth conference was held, where Ranju Jha from Maharashtra spoke extensively about the significance of voting in nation-building and development. Professor Seema Singh emphasized the impact of individual votes on the nation's direction, urging thoughtful consideration for the betterment of society and the country's future.
