Chhattisgarh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan said on Monday that the innovative ideas and energy of youth are invaluable in nation building.
“This is a huge opportunity that can take India forward as a developed and strong nation,” he said.
He said this at a workshop held at Raj Bhavan in Raipur in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually launched the Viksit Bharat 2047 ideas portal.
This initiative aims to promote topics like developed India, strong Indians, prosperous and sustainable economies, good governance and security, India’s place in the world and more.
In his virtual address, Modi said: “Educatioal institutions played a key role in spreading a new consciousness for independence.
"Today, they have the responsibility to prepare the youth to work towards the development of our nation,” he said.
Scholars from various universities also delivered lectures on the 2047 vision of a developed India.
