DSP Umakant Choudhary, posted in Indore Rural, has been awarded the honorary degree of PhD by Maryland State University, United States in recognition of the work he has done in community policing. It is noteworthy that DSP Choudhary has done many things while working in different branches of police. Notable work has been done as Traffic Police Fire Service Sub-Department Officer as well as many innovative works have been done in departments like Film and Adventure in Tourism Board. Many awareness programs have been done by him with various social organizations for youth and students.
In recognition of this, this honorary degree has been given by the University of America. All the officers, employees of the department and various social organizations of Indore have congratulated on the achievement of DSP Choudhary.
