Regarding the lapse in security of the Parliament, all the constituent parties of the Indian alliance including the Congress today started an angry protest march starting from the local Shaheed Chowk and reached the Raj Bhavan, where all the leaders of the opposition parties including the Congress were present.
Addressing the angry protest march in front of Raj Bhavan, State Congress Committee President Rajesh Thakur said that the purpose of this angry protest march is to draw public attention to the dangerous situation facing our democracy. He said that the question is why the youth protested in the Parliament, they took this step in protest against unemployment. Same is the condition of other youth of the country. Because it came to power by promising to provide employment to 02 crore youth every year, the Modi government is not able to provide employment to them.
He said that it is the first incident in the history of independent India when 146 opposition MPs were suspended. This is a stain on democracy and a national disgrace to the country. He said that the Modi government has put aside both the dignity of Parliament and the dignity of democracy. A conspiracy is being hatched to make Parliament an arena for the ruling party. Modi government has put the Constitution, democracy and Parliament in danger. The ruling party is silent on the security lapses of Parliament and action is being taken against the opposition MPs. He said that the Modi government does not want the House to function. In a democracy, there should be questions on issues related to the public. We all opposition leaders and workers are standing together, this is a fight between hatred and love. The more hatred they spread, the more love the alliance will spread.
Finance Minister Dr. Rameshwar Oraon said that the Prime Minister and the Home Minister should give a statement in the House on the lapses in Parliament security. This is the process of democracy. He said that not giving a statement is an insult to the House.
State Congress Working President Bandhu Tirkey said that BJP does not want multi-party democracy in the country. He said that the question is how the security lapse took place in the Parliament.
Agriculture Minister Badal said how the youth reached the Parliament and why action is not being taken against those on whose recommendation they reached the Parliament. This clearly shows the intentions and policies of BJP.
On this occasion, State Vice President Anadi Brahm, MLA Shilpi Neha Tirkey, State General Secretary cum Media Incharge Rakesh Sinha, Organization General Secretary Amulya Neeraj Khalkho, Ravindra Singh, Sanjay Lal Paswan, Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, Vinay Sinha Deepu, Surendra Singh, Amarendra Singh, Kamal Thakur.
