SBPS students shine at CBSE NAS 2023
The students of Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi won accolades in the CBSE National Adolescent Summit, 2023 at National Bal Bhavan, New Delhi. Sidhant Vikram Singh of Std. IX received certificate of merit and medal for securing the 2nd position in the event ‘Pathshala Nukkad Ki’ which was based on contemporary themes. Shivansh Singh of Std. IX, Sparsh Ranjan of Std. XI and Shashank Sourav of Std. XI received a Special Jury Award in the event National School Health and Wellbeing Exhibition. The Principal of our school, Mrs. Paramjit Kaur, was honoured with Citation of Honour for distinguished participation.
Stryker Brigade, JVA donate heaters
On the occasion of 81st birth anniversary of L/Nk Albert Ekka, PVC, on 27 December 2023, Stryker Brigade of Trinetra Division of Indian Army, in collaboration with Jharkhand Veterans' Association (JVA) donated heavy duty Heaters to ECHS Namkum. On behalf of Commander Stryker Bde the Officer-in-Charge of Veterans' Seva Kendra, Namkum Military Station in presence of President JVA presented the items to the Officer-in-Charge of ECHS Polyclinic Namkum. This event showcases significant affiliation and empathy of the Indian Army towards the ESMs. The Veteran Seva Kendra in Namkum Military Station functions under the aegis of the Stryker Brigade.
SBK Party to be strengthened for polls
National General Secretary of Sampoorna Bharat Kranti Party cum Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh in-charge Vijay Shankar Nayak today said that the party will be strengthened so that it can contest the elections strongly in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. In this regard, today he has given instructions to the state president of Sampoorna Bharat Kranti Party, Neil Justin Beck and has asked him to submit the Jharkhand State Committee within a month. Expand the membership and get approval by nominating district presidents in 24 districts so that the party's organization can be strengthened and the party can contest the upcoming Lok Sabha and Legislative Assembly elections with strength.
How India Borrows Survey 2023
Home Credit India, a local arm of the leading global consumer finance provider, on Tuesday launched their annual How India Borrows Survey 2023, which aims to understand the constantly evolving consumer borrowing behaviour. Since 2021, the trend in borrowing has shifted from running the household to buying consumer durables such as smartphones & home appliances (44% in 2023). While consumer durable loans decreased by 9%, business-related borrowing increased by 5%, making it a total of 19% middle class borrowing to expand or to start a new business.
