Cold wave conditions continued to grip the State with the minimum temperature dipping at various places on Monday night. Bhubaneswar recorded a minimum temperature of 14.6 degree Celsius.
As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), G Udaygiri in Kandhamal recorded a minimum temperature of 9.4 degree Celsius. Kirei in Sundargarh also recorded a minimum temperature of 9.5 degree.
Daringibadi and Phulbani in Kandhamal district registered minimum temperatures of 10.5 and 11 degree, respectively.
The minimum temperature in Koraput district too hovered between 10 and 12 degree.
As per the IMD, the minimum temperature (night temperature) is very likely to fall by 2 to 4 degrees over the districts of the State during the next two to three days.
Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur in the districts of interior Odisha during the next 48 hours. Dry weather is very likely to prevail in all districts for the next five days, the weather office said.
