The first Jharkhand State Para Yogasana Sports Championship is going to be organized in Jamshedpur by Yogasana Sports Association of Jharkhand. CII Young Indians is also getting support in this event. Yogasan Sports Association of Jharkhand President Sanjay Singh and General Secretary Bipin Kumar Pandey have an important contribution in this event being held for the first time. Participants from all the districts of Jharkhand are participating in this championship.
Shubham Yadav, State Coordinator of Jharkhand Para Yogasana Sports Promotion Committee of Yogasana Sports Association of Jharkhand, said that Para Yogasana is going to be organized for the first time in Jamshedpur. It will be organized on 30th December at Agrasen Bhawan located near Sakchi Mango Garden. The registration date for this has ended. A total of 80 participants from 23 districts across Jharkhand have registered themselves. All participants have been asked to report on the evening of 29th December. For this, all the participants have been asked to come with the original Aadhar card and disability certificate. Although participants from outside the city will come a day before, participants from within the city can join on the day of the tournament itself.
This championship will be held in 4 categories. In the blind category, male and female participants under 20 and above 20 years of age, under 17 and above 17 years in the deaf category, and under 20 and above in the OH A category can participate. The scale of disability for them is fixed at 50 to 75 percent. Apart from this, participants under 20 and above with more than 75 percent disability will also be able to participate in OH B category.
1 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medal will be given in each category of Traditional Yogasana. In this way, 16 gold, 16 silver and 16 bronze medal winners will be awarded in the championship. Under this, a total of 48 medals will be distributed, including 24 in the women's category and 24 in the men's category. The semi-finals and final of the championship will be of 15-15 seconds, in which the participants will have the option of 2-2 postures.
Manoj Kumar Yadav is the chief patron of Jharkhand Para Yogasana Sports Promotion Committee. Ankita Naredi, Shilpa Dhanuka, Mridul Goyal and Kaushik Modi of CII Young Indians also have important contributions in this event.
