The first convocation ceremony was organized on Monday in the main campus of AISECT University located at Tarba-Kharba, Hazaribag. Governor Ramesh Bais was present as the chief guest of the convocation ceremony.In the programme, 148 undergraduate and postgraduate students were awarded degrees by Governor Ramesh Bais, in which 56 meritorious students were also given gold medals.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Chief Guest Governor Ramesh Bais and Special Guest Sadar MLA Manish Jaiswal were welcomed by University Chancellor Santosh Choubey and BSF Band at the main gate of the University. After this, an academic procession was taken out, which was led by the Registrar of the University, Dr. Munish Govind.In the educational procession, the Chief Guest Honorable Governor Ramesh Bais, Chancellor Santosh Choubey, Special Guest Sadar MLA Manish Jaiswal, Pro-Chancellor Abhishek Pandit, Vice-Chancellor Dr. PK Nayak, Dean Admin Dr. SR Rath and faculty presidents of all faculties were present.As soon as the procession reached the venue, the ceremony started with the national anthem.
The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Governor Ramesh Bais, University Chancellor Santosh Choubey and special guest Sadar MLA Manish Jaiswal by jointly lighting the lamp.After Saraswati Vandana, University Chancellor Santosh Choubey welcomed the Chief Guest Governor Ramesh Bais on the dais by covering him with a shawl and presenting mementos.Along with this, the special guest Sadar MLA Manish Jaiswal was welcomed by Dr. Munish Govind, the registrar of the university, by covering him with a shawl and presenting mementos.
Addressing the students on the occasion, the Governor said that the students of this state have competence in every field, only they need better guidance.Congratulating all the gold medalists and title holders, he said that knowledge cannot be stolen or snatched away.One who has knowledge, moves forward like rivers.Emphasizing on practical education, he said that knowledge is what is reflected in your character. Education widens the scope of our thinking.He said that education should also be experimental and such new subjects should be studied which are especially useful for the students. While congratulating and congratulating all the members of the university including the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, Registrar, he said that I hope that in the coming times, this university will be known among the prestigious universities of the country, moving forward on the path of rapid development.
