A caution order has been issued to engine crew of all types of the trains like passenger train, goods train and long distance train to have ' sharp look out with long whistling at stretches for the railway lines where there will be crossing Chhath devotees in this coming Chhath festival beginning November 17.
Daltonganj railway station superintendent Umesh Kumar said this caution order is mainly for the safety of lives of people who just go unmindful of risks in such holy and festive occasions while trespassing the railway lines.
He said the engine crew has been cautioned to even pull a brake to stop the train if there is found assemblage of people negotiating the railway lines.
Five vulnerable stretches have been identified between the Barwadeeh railway station and Garhwa Road junction where Chhath ghats cross railway lines to reach out to the Chhath ghats.
The 5 vulnerable spots are Lalgarh, Tolra, Amanat, Garhwa Road junction and Pajree.
Here at these 5 locations scores of Chhath devotees cross the Up and Dn lines.
RPF inspector incharge Banarasi Yadav said "The RPF jawans will be keeping a close watch on these 5 locations. There will be a very high level of vigil and alert on November 20 when Ark Samarpan will be early morning."
Morning ritual of the Chhath festival is more to be taken care of in the wake of fog or mist coming in as winter is getting colder with every passing day here.
