The selected candidates, who did not get an appointment despite passing the teacher eligibility test conducted in 2020, are again preparing to protest. The protestors have given a memorandum to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav regarding his appointments.
In the memorandum they have talked about giving appointments to the candidates who have filled their choice in the Primary Teacher Recruitment 2020 counseling process.
Teachers said that we have been demanding this from the then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for a long time. Now we are demanding the same from the new Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.
We are primary teacher recruitment 2020 passed candidates. Primary teacher recruitment is under process in Madhya Pradesh after 12 years, notification came in December 2019. It's been 4 years and recruitment is still pending. All the candidates from all categories have participated in the counseling process. District and school choice filling has been done. We all are on the waiting list, and have participated in the counseling process. The number of all our candidates is approximately 9000.
Recently, more than 30000 posts have become vacant in primary schools in Madhya Pradesh due to promotion and retirement. Before the elections, former Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar had assured of an increase in more than 10000 posts and demand would be fulfilled as soon as the government is formed again. They have been demanding promotion for 2 years and are mentally tortured. They have requested the Chief Minister to increase the posts in Madhya Pradesh Primary Teacher Recruitment 2020 and issue appointment letters.
Sangh convenor Mangal Singh, who passed the Madhya Pradesh Primary Teacher Eligibility Test, said that we have recently given a memorandum to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. We want that the posts in Primary Teacher Recruitment Class 3 should be increased. Other candidates who have participated in the counseling process are continuously demanding an increase in the posts. More than 30000 posts are vacant in the department. If our demands are not met, we will again take to the streets and protest.
