Dr Satendra Singh has been recognised with a national award. Dr Singh is a professor of Physiology at Delhi’s prestigious University College of Medical Sciences & GTB Hospital. Dr Singh received the NCPEDP-Mphasis Universal Design Awards 2023 from Rajesh Aggarwal, Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities ((DEPwD) on Thursday.
Dr Singh, who contracted polymyelitis very early in life, embodies this spirit of dedication and advocacy, particularly in the realm of disability justice, and for his relentless efforts and unwavering commitment, he has been honored with the prestigious NCPEDP – Mphasis Javed Abidi Public Policy Award 2023 this year.
