After the deadline to reduce the volume of loud speakers and DJ (sound boxes) in all religious places in Bhopal completed on Wednesday DJ operators protested at TT Nagar area and raised slogans demanding to provide DJ operators exemption.
Now only two loudspeakers or two sound boxes (speakers) can be played together and that too within the prescribed volume limit. The administration will take action on violation of this guideline.
On Thursday, they gathered in the TT Nagar area and raised slogans. Holding placards in their hands, they demanded to provide DJ operators exemption. This protest was under the banner of Madhya Pradesh DJ Association and Bhopal Electronic Musical Band and Jockey Association.
President of Bhopal Electronic Musical Band and Jockey Association, Sandeep Kumar said that there are more than 500 DJs in Bhopal. With which more than 50000 people are associated. Due to restrictions on DJs, their livelihood will be in danger. Bookings have stopped since the order. The government should keep them under exemption, or allow them to run 4 sound boxes instead of 2. They will play DJ only in prescribed decibels. For this, a team formed at the district level can also investigate.
Following the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Collector and the Police Commissioner held a meeting on December 14 with all the religious leaders regarding loudspeakers and DJs at all religious places. In this, everyone was instructed to keep the voice within the prescribed limit within 7 days.
After the government's order, Collector Ashish Singh has formed a team at the SDM level. At the same time, the areas around 31 hospitals have been declared 'silent zones'.
'Silent' zone is around Hamidia Hospital, Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal Memorial Hospital Bhanpur, JP Hospital, AIIMS, Kasturba Hospital BHEL, Kailash Nath Katju Hospital, Khushi Lal Ayurvedic Hospital, Government Homeopathy Hospital, People's Hospital Bhanpur, Viva Hospital, Bansal Hospital, JK Hospital Kolar, LBS Hospital, Noble Hospital, Apollo Hospital, National Hospital, Hajela Hospital, Jawaharlal Cancer Hospital and Research Center Idgah Hills, TV Hospital Idgah Hills, Shakir Ali Khan Hospital, Government Lalchand Hospital Shahjahanabad, Government Unani Hospital, Narmada Hospital, Guru Dutt Hospital, Gastro Care Hospital , Ayushman Hospital, Lake City Hospital, Aastha Hospital, Bhopal Fracture Hospital, Aggarwal Hospital and Smart City Hospitals.
