The third day of the Gajapati Utsav and Pallishree Mela was celebrated with fervour in Paralkhemundi on Wednesday.
Various dance and cultural programmes were performed by artists from Odisha and outside the State which enthralled the audience, who were seen dancing. Gajapati Collector Smruti Ranjan Pradhan was the chief guest. Sambalpur University Vice-Chancellor N Nagarajju and Special Development Council Chairperson Marium Raita were the honanary guests.
All the guests opined that the district’s culture, music and tribal dances and the tourist spots are developing due to which the district is developing as a whole,
On the occasion, the Collector felicitated four persons and also presented mementos to the other guests.
A video on the culture and heritage of Gajapati was unveiled on the occasion.
Notably, the Gajapati Utsav which kick-started on December 19, would conclude on December 23.
