The service period of Odisha Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena has been extended by six months.
The General Administration and Public Grievance Department issued a notification in this regard on Friday.
Jena’s service period was extended for from January 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024, said the notification.
Jena, a 1989-batch IAS officer, had been appointed as the Chief Secretary on February 26 this year. He was scheduled to retire from service on December 31.
