Jai Bharat Satyagraha Yatra, a pre-announced State-wide programme by Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC), started on Wednesday for a 1950 kilometers walk. It started with a huge ‘Jai Bharat Satyagraha Sabha’ programme organized in Lohardaga district.

Apart from State Congress in-charge Avinash Pandey, former Union Minister, Subodhkant Sahay, Rajya Sabha MP, Dhiraj Sahu, Minister in the State, Rameshwar Oraon, Badal, JPCC Chief, Rajesh Thakur and other senior leaders of the party were present.  Pandey will participate in the Yatra, which will be organized in all the 24 districts of the State in the next 13 days.

Addressing the ‘Jai Bharat Satyagraha Sabha’ in Lohardaga, Pandey said that raising the voice of the general public against corruption has become a crime in the Modi rule. There is a fight to save democracy, against 'Mitrakala'. He said that it is the Congress party which had ended the Company Raj from this Country by following the path of Satyagraha shown by the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. “Four-time MP Rahul Gandhi, former president of the Country's main opposition party, is not allowed to speak inside the Parliament, his mike switched off, demonstrating like extremist the ruling party's members. The proceedings are not allowed to go on. Union Ministers make unrestrained statements while tarnishing the dignity of their posts and when Rahul Gandhi is unable to suppress the voices of the Congress party and the opposition, then another conspiracy is hatched to end Rahul Gandhi's parliament membership,” he added.

The party’s State in-charge further said that the only reason why all this action was taken against Rahul Gandhi is because he talked about the relationship of the Prime Minister of the Country with Adani. “Gandhi raised his voice against the Adani-Modi alliance. He asked two questions: Who has sent Rs 20,000 crore in Adani's shell companies, where did this money come from, what is Prime Minister Modi's relation with Adani, along with facts, he showed a picture of PM Modi resting in Adani's plane. He shared about the defence industry, about airports, about the statements made in Sri Lanka, about the statements made in Bangladesh, photographs of Narendra Modi and Adani sitting with the Chairman of the State Bank of India in Australia, who allegedly approved a $1 billion loan to Adani. The Modi Government did not answer the questions and on the Contrary, Congress President, Mallikarjun Kharge's speech in the Rajya Sabha, important parts of the Adani scam and Rahul Gandhi's speech in the Lok Sabha were removed from the records of the Parliament. Why?” he asked.

The Sabha was addressed by several senior leaders of the party like former Union Minister SK Sahay, Dhiraj Sahu, Rameshwar Oraon, Badal and the party State Chief.
