The Mool Niwas Swabhiman Maharally being organised by different organisations on the issues of domicile and land laws in Dehradun on December 24 has received the support of political parties. The opposition Congress, Left parties and the leaders of Aam Aadmi Party have extended their support to the rally.
In a letter to the convener of the rally the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara said that the party always supports the issues of public interests. He said that the party workers and leaders will attend the rally in large numbers. Mahara said the erstwhile governments of the Congress party in Uttarakhand had taken worthy decisions on the issues of domicile, land laws and providing 70 per cent reservation to the local youth in the private sector. He said that the Congress extends its full support to the cause of domicile and land laws and hopes that the State government will take positive decisions on these matters of public sentiments.
The convener of the Uttarakhand unit of AAP Jot Singh Bisht said that every Uttarakhandi should take part in the rally to save the land resources of Uttarakhand. He also appealed to the people to attend the rally in large numbers.
