CM in a meeting reviews city development works in Ujjain

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, while reviewing the city development works in Ujjain, directed that the district administration should prepare the traffic management plan of Ujjain city from now onwards, keeping in view the Simhastha-2028. Make efforts that the devotees reach Mahakal Temple in minimum time, they do not have to walk two-three kilometers unnecessarily. The administration should ensure that the devotees get darshan of Mahakal temple in less time like Tirupati Balaji. A team should visit Tirupati Balaji temple and observe the arrangements there and made an action plan.

Chief Minister Yadav said that wherever Lord Krishna's footsteps have touched, those places will be developed as religious areas. Narayanadham will be developed as a Teerth Dham (pilgrimage site). The Chief Minister said that like Panchkroshi, Parikrama Yatra will be taken out on Purnima also. Parikrama Yatra will be widely publicized. Efforts will be made that on the lines of Vrindavan Parikrama, after Mahakal Darshan, the devotees have darshan of Chintaman Ganesh Temple, Harsiddhi Temple, Kalbhairav Temple, Mangalnath Temple, Sandipani Ashram etc and then return to Mahakal Temple. Infrastructure works are planned for a permanent stop on Panchkroshi road. Chief Minister Yadav said that renovation of all the properties of archaeological importance in the district will be done on priority. Kothi Palace, Grand Hotel and Maharajwada in Ujjain will be given a new look. Chief Minister Yadav said that a better action plan should be made for the development of city roads in which participation of all departments should be ensured.

Chief Minister Yadav directed the district administration to allocate fixed spaces for meat and fish sellers. The campaign against those selling meat and fish in the open should continue unabated.

Chief Minister Yadav directed to take action against loudspeakers playing more than the prescribed decibels. He also said that no one should be unnecessarily harassed for this. He said that the Home Department is preparing an app for loudspeakers exceeding prescribed decibel levels.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed the officials that development works should be given top priority. There should not be any laxity in construction works. It should be ensured that the development work of the city is better. Diligent officers doing good work will be encouraged and action will be taken against irresponsible officers.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave instructions to beautify the major intersections of the city and carry out development work around Mahamrityunjaya Dwar. He apprised himself regarding the development of elevated corridor from Chamunda Mata Mandir intersection to Harifatak Bridge. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stressed the need for parking on Neelkanth Forest Road and said that necessary measures should be taken for this. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the devotees coming to Mahakal should have darshan of Baba Mahakal within 5 minutes. Its micro planning should be done by the district administration.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav asked the MLAs to plan road and development work with cooperation of SDM. The CM instructed ACS Dr. Rajesh Rajoura to review continuously the ongoing development works in Ujjain division.

In the review meeting, MP Shri Anil Firojia, MLAs shri Anil Jain Kaluhera, Shri Satish Malviya, Dr. Tejbahadur Singh Chouhan, Shri Jitendra Pandya, Shri Dinesh Jain Bose, Mayor Shri Mukesh Tatwal, Chairperson Smt. Kalavati Yadav, UDA President Shri Shyam Bansal, Shri Vivek Joshi, Shri Bahadur Singh Bormundla, former MLA Shri Bahadur Singh Chouhan, Shri Rajendra Bharti, Shri Vishal Rajouria, divisional and district officers of various departments were present.
