Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said on Thursday that Chhattisgarh has extremely rich soil and there was no dearth of natural resources, opening immense possibilities for development.
“We are determined to strengthen the tourism industry. Chhattisgarh has a huge potential in tourism, which will lead the state towards prosperity.
“Plans have been laid for the upliftment of people from all sections. Everyone's support and everyone's development are our goals.”
He said this at the “Jashpuria Mati Atal Good Governance Ceremony” held in Jashpur district.
MLAs Gomti Sai and Raimuni Bhagat along with local public representatives were present.
Local artists cordially welcomed Sai by performing traditional Chhattisgarhi folk dances and songs.
At the event, Sai laid the foundation for development works worth Rs. 111 crore.
He also distributed certificates of paddy bonus to farmers and aid to beneficiaries of welfare schemes.
