The Bharatiya Janata Party organised a state-level workshop on Wednesday to impart training for making digital volunteers and appointing them as ambassadors of the Namo app and the Viksit Bharat Abhiyan.
The workshop saw the participation of key party leaders, including BJP state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary and secretary (organisation) Dharampal Singh.
Central coordinator of the Namo app, Kuljeet Chahal, along with the national members of the Namo app team, including Shailesh Pandey, conducted the training with a presentation.
Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary emphasised the importance of the Namo app as a powerful medium to communicate in the age of communication revolution.
“The (BJP) state unit aims to train two crore volunteers on the Namo app, creating ambassadors for Viksit Bharat, and mobilising party workers towards this goal,” he said.
Chaudhary highlighted the contrast between the transparent and inclusive approach of the BJP under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, in contrast to corruption and bias seen in schemes under opposition parties like Congress, Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party.
Chaudhary called for early preparations for the upcoming campaigns and the Lok Sabha elections.
Dharampal Singh outlined upcoming district-level workshops from December 15 to 17 to provide training for becoming Viksit Bharat ambassadors after downloading and updating the Namo app profile.
He urged party leaders, representatives and workers at all levels to download the app and participate in the 100-day challenge, microdonation, and various party initiatives.
Singh emphasised the role of the Namo app in spreading positive stories of India’s transformation through the Viksit Bharat campaign. He discussed organisational campaigns and programmes, mentioning the initiation of wall writing at all assembly constituency levels.
