The birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was celebrated as Good Governance Day by the Bharatiya Janata Party Lohardaga District Committee here on Monday. The program was organized under the chairmanship of District President Manir Oraon. In which mainly Rajya Sabha MP cum BJP State General Secretary Aditya Sahu and MP Sudarshan Bhagat were present as chief guests. Also present on the occasion were BJP State Working Committee member Omprakash Singh, Anil Tiger, former Mati Kala Board Chairman Srichand Prajapati.
The program started by garlanding the portrait of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, lighting the lamp and offering flowers. After the program, blankets were distributed among about 70 old people by MP Sudarshan Bhagat. Addressing the program. Sudarshan Bhagat said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee's struggle was for every needy person of the country. There are many schemes like Antodaya Yojana created by him, from which the last person of the society is benefiting today. Atal ji gave justice to the struggle by establishing the tribes and Jharkhand. He promoted the power of free education, roads, farmer protection, and informed the whole world about the Pokhran nuclear test. By bringing Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, the village farmers along with the poor were given their rights. Whereas Modi ji completed his initial work.
Along with being a political person, he continued to give positive messages to his countrymen through his work as a poet, writer and editor and inspired them towards self-reliance. Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu said that revered Atal ji was called Ajatashatru because he had no enemies. Atal ji had struggled for one mark, one constitution for Jammu and Kashmir. Following his ideology, success was also achieved. He tried to link the rivers. While speaking on Jharkhand, he said that the dreams of Jharkandis are currently being sacrificed by corruption. Due to which crores of people of tribal society are getting benefited. During the program, Harmu chief Sunil Lakra took membership of BJP.
The program was conducted by District General Secretary Balkrishna Singh and program coordinator Bharatiya Sinha. The vote of thanks was given by District Vice President Samela Bhagat.
