The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), Bhopal Centre hosted an elegant evening witnessing design meets recognition in the 'Appreciation Award Ceremony' organised for the brightest minds in the architectural realms of the state capital on August 25, 2023, Friday.
The prestigious award Ceremony marked the occasion in the special presence of many distinguished dignitaries of architecture. The ceremony was organised under the guidance of Chairman of IIA Bhopal Centre Ar. Akshay Selukar. The event was powered by Jaguar.
The jury panel which consisted of highly respected architects and experts had pre-judged each of the awards nominations on their merit and impact.
After a meticulous review by an influential jury of creative thought leaders, selected architects came out on top, providing a diverse picture of the talented teams helping to conceptualize, design and deliver the city's best architecture.
The award presentation ceremony recognised and rewarded the success and creativity of the industry's most impressive projects or architectural works of art, leading architects and designers for innovative concepts, initiatives and design excellence.
The awards were categorized into six including Lifetime Achievement award, Best Residential Design Award, Best Healthcare and Medical Building Design Award, Best Hospitality Design Award and Best Group Design Award. Also two awards for the Best Architectural Research work for Academician Award.
The Best Residential Design Awards were bagged by Ar Akshay Jain, Ar Apoorv Kumar Gupta, Ar Vibha Shrivastava, AR Ishan Ahluwalia and Ar Kamalroop Singh Maan. Best Hospitality Design Award was presented to Ar SM Hussain, Ar Shailendra Sharma and AR SM Waseem. While, Ar Manoj Choubey, AR Vibha ShrivastavaShrivastava were presented Best Healthcare and Medical Design Award. And the Best Architectural Research Work Award was bagged by Ar Shikha Patidar. And the Lifetime Achievement Award was bagged by Architect BV Yadam.
