The State government employees, angry over the dismissal of a section of employees who have not passed the Computer Proficiency Certification Test (CPCT) (compassionate appointment), are preparing to agitate in the new year. Regarding this, Madhya Pradesh Clerical Government Employees Association has called a meeting in January.
Union President MP Dwivedi while talking to media persons said that the previous government did not pay attention to the demands of the clerks. This was the situation when the movement was carried out in 7 phases from May to October 2023.
For the first time in a decade, the Kalambandh strike was successful across the state. He told that the biggest demand of clerks is a time scale pay scale similar to that of clerks of ministry service. There is also an argument that the clerks of the ministry service are transferred only in the ministry, whereas the clerks posted in other departments are posted in any district of the state. Therefore they have greater financial needs.
Dwivedi says that there is a big demand regarding the grade pay of Assistant Grade-3.
Presently they are being given grade pay of Rs 1900 and we are demanding Rs 2400. The movement of the Sangh regarding these demands will continue and that is why a meeting has been called in January. A strategy will be prepared in that.
