NTPC Coal Mining HQ, Ranchi

NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters, Ranchi, celebrated the 77th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. Chief Guest for the occasion, MVR Reddy, Regional Executive Director (Coal Mining), hoisted the tricolour and paid homage to the freedom fighters who contributed to India's independence. He also mentioned that the Prime Minister spearheaded the “Har Ghar Tiranga initiative under the aegis of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' to commemorate 76 years of Indian Independence this year. Stressing the increase in power demand across the country, he asked the Coal Mining Team to share the responsibility for partly meeting the coal demand of NTPC thermal stations. In the felicitation ceremony, meritorious awards were given to ten employees of CMHQ for their outstanding contributions.

Dalmia Bharat Eastern Region

 

Dalmia Bharat Limited (DBL) has forayed into the "Amrit Mahotsav of Indian Independence Day", honouring 76 retired servicemen of the country from four states in the eastern region of the country. Recognizing the invaluable contribution of soldiers defending the nation, they were felicitated at felicitation functions held simultaneously in West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar and Jharkhand under the theme 'Saluting 76'. The ceremony began with the unfurling of the national flag by Priya Ranjan unit Head Bokaro followed by the national anthem together with the entire Dalmia unit. After that, there was a social gathering in which 76 national heroes who served in the Indian Army or Security Services under various ranks and ranks were felicitated. They were presented with a plaque, memento, shawl, Indian National Flag and a booklet highlighting the 76 heroes in the presence of the Dalmia Bharat team, its associates and key influential personalities.

Friendship football match on I-Day

 

A friendly football match was organized at Kumar Mangalam Stadium, Sector 04, on Tuesday afternoon. Friendship football match was played between SAIL Vs District Administration (DC 11 & Director 11) on 77th Independence Day. Notably in the match, the captain of the district administration, Deputy Commissioner Kuldeep Chaudhary, Vice Captain Superintendent of Police Priyadarshi Alok remained. Also District officials/employees joined the team, whereas, on behalf of SAIL BSL unit, the in-charge director was the captain of the team. Director team included the office bearers/personnel of BSL. It is notable that BSL's Executive Director (Works) Birendra Kumar Tiwari and Director (Personnel and Administration) Rajan Prasad were mainly present during this friendly match.

DAV Public School Bokaro

 

DAV Public School Bokaro celebrated the 77th Independence day of the country in a grand way in the august presence of its ARO Arun Kumar and Principal A.K Jha . The event begins with the flag hoisting by ARO and Principal along with the march together with students simply paving a path of excellence enlightened for all. After saluting the flag, the national anthem was sung in the posture of discipline exemplifying commitments towards nation comes through focus discipline only which is also one of the major motto of DAV Public School. ARO Arun Kumar said that "On this auspicious festival, we should take an oath that there is no religion bigger than the nation, respect for the flag is paramount”. Also on this occasion, the Principal of the school AK Jha said that School is a place where the gathered youth power is committed to maintain the cultural unity and integrity of our country and also to remind those important dates which have left behind the messages of sacrifice and steely intentions.

Pentecostal Assembly School

In the heart of B.S. City at The Pentecostal Assembly School, the 77th Independence Day was commemorated with a resounding display of patriotic fervour. The event commenced with the distinguished presence of the Founders, Director, Dr. D. N. Prasad and CAO, Rita Prasad. Administrative Head, Daniel Michael Prasad, all the teachers, staff and the students of the senior school joined in the celebration to witness the hoisting of the National Flag by the Director Dr. D. N. Prasad.  A collective rendition of the National Anthem echoed with unity in the hearts of all present. A powerful and stirring speech by Sheela Roy Sharma ignited a strong sense of patriotism among the students. The spirit of the occasion was further enriched by the heartfelt Hindi poem recitation by Sejal Rai of XII E, leaving an indelible mark of inspiration on the audience.

PVUN, Patratu 

 

The 77th Independence Day was celebrated at PVUN, Patratu with patriotic fervour and gaiety. Ravindra Kumar, CEO(PVUN) hoisted the National Flag with guard of honour and salutation to the National Anthem at the Pre-Fab Ground Area followed by releasing of the Tri-Coloured Balloons. Addressing the enthusiastic gathering, CEO(PVUN) remembered and paid respect to the sacrifice of Freedom Fighters who laid their lives for India's independence. He commended the relentless efforts and remarkable achievements of the nation in various aspects and also appreciated the collective efforts of the organisation in nation-building. With pride, he recollected the project highlights and praised the Project Group for achieving various milestones. The occasion was graced by Chandana Kumari, President (Swarnrekha Mahila Smiti and Bal Bhawan), S. K. Panda GM (Project), Neeraj Kumar Roy, HoHR, B. Dash GM (Engg.), Sampath Kumar Ramu GM (FQA), Devdeep Bose, GM (C&T and Safety), Nagendra Kumar Mishra (CFO), Sanjay Kumar (CMO), Bishnu Datta Dash, AGM (EED), and all other employees of PVUN along with their families.

Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi

Delhi Public School, Ranchi

Delhi Public School Ranchi commemorated the 77th Independence Day with great fervour and patriotic spirit. The school's premises were adorned with tricolor decorations and a palpable sense of national pride filled the air. The event began with the hoisting of the national flag by the school principal, Dr. Ram Singh, accompanied by a soul-stirring rendition of the national anthem by everyone. The entire school, from students to staff, stood in solemn unity, reflecting the spirit of the occasion. The patriotic vibe of the programme was further enhanced with the synchronised march-past by the students. On this momentous occasion the whole school echoed with the slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Matram” and everyone took a pledge to prioritize their obligations towards the nation.

 

Kairali School, Ranchi

The 77th Independence Day of the nation was celebrated with great pomp and joy on the main campus of Kairali School. The Tricolour was hoisted by the Chief Guest Saji Nair, the Vice President of Malayalee Association Ranchi and also the Chairman of Socio Cultural Wing. The flag hoisting was followed by the National Anthem. The dignitaries included the Chairman of the School Management Committee Shri Philip Mathew, the General Secretary of Malayalee Association Ranchi, K Ramesan, Prabhat Unnithan , secretary SMC, Director of the school Jacob CJ, Principal Rajesh Pillai, Vice Principals Suja Pillai and KR Smriti.

SSVM, Ramnagar, Kadma

Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir Ramnagar, Kadma. Chief guest Rajendra Prasad Mahalakshmi Jewellers, Co-Secretary of School Management Committee hoisted the flag. Before this Bharat Mata Pujan took place, welcome songs were presented by the sisters of class VIII, cultural programs were also presented by the sisters which was quite beautiful. Class 10's sister Priya conducted the stage. In his address, the chief guest said that today is the day of the great freedom fighter who gave freedom to India. Vice President of the school Pramod Kumar Sinha said that we are proud of our country which was born in India, today we should take a pledge on this auspicious day to maintain the unity of Bharat Mata. Principal Rajesh Kumar Pandey delivered the vote of thanks.

Surendranath Centenary School

Surendranath Centenary School celebrated the 77th Independence Day with the hoisting of the national flag to honour the historical event by Principal Samita Sinha. The SCS family comprising children of classes V&VI, participants of various programmes, NCC cadets, teachers and other staff members sang the national anthem in unison and expressed the joy of freedom. Principal Samita Sinha addressed the students by asking them to take a pledge to uphold the rich tradition and culture of India, work together and wipe off social evils and learn to live in harmony. She further said that we are fortunate to be born in a free country and we need to work hard so that the sacrifices made by our forefathers do not go in vain.

Ranchi Railway Division

Divisional Railway Manager Jasmeet Singh Bindra hoisted the flag on the occasion of 77th Independence Day celebrations in the premises of Divisional Railway Manager's office and saluted all the great men who fought for freedom and gave us freedom on August 15. Sukhmeen Kaur, President of SERWWO, Ranchi and other members were present on this occasion. On the occasion, the DRM in his speech highlighted important achievements of the division. ADRM Manish Kumar, CMS SK Behera, Sr DCM cum CPRO Nishant Kumar, Sr DPO Manik Shankar, Sr DoM Tangabalan S and other officers during the programme and employees were present.

Bank of India

Bank of India (BoI) Ranchi Zone celebrated 77th Independence Day with great pomp and show at Church Road branch premises. Flag hoisting was done by the chief guest of the program, General Manager, National Banking Group-Jharkhand,  Manoj Kumar. On this auspicious occasion tree plantation was done collectively by the staff members of the bank. While congratulating the 77th Independence Day, Kumar remembered the warriors who sacrificed their lives for freedom and said that our bank is the main bank of Jharkhand and we are the lead district bank in 15 out of 24 districts across the State.

 

Birsa Agriculture University

The main function of 77th Independence Day at Birsa Agricultural University (BAU), Ranchi was celebrated with gaiety and enthusiasm at the university headquarters on Tuesday. On this occasion Vice Chancellor (VC), Dr Omkar Nath Singh hoisted the National flag and saluted the tricolor. On the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor administered oath to the university personnel to protect humanity, maintain the unity and integrity of the nation, follow National religion and cooperate in the development of the Nation. In his address, following the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and Bhagwan Birsa Munda, he encouraged people to make excellent contributions to the institute. He sincerely described the service of the institute as a part of the service of the Country. He said that the lines we have drawn in the last three years, its future result will be very pleasant and better in the interest of the university.
