As per the instructions of National Legal Services Authority, New Delhi and Jhalsa, Ranchi, the last National Lok Adalat of the year was organized on Saturday in the Civil Court premises with the courtesy of District Legal Services Authority, Lohardaga. The program was inaugurated by Dalsa President cum Principal District and Sessions Judge Rajendra Bahadur Pal, Dalsa Vice President-cum-Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna, Principal Judge Family Court Shri Subhash, First District Judge Akhilesh Tiwari, Superintendent of Police Haris Bin Jama, Dalsa Secretary Rajesh Kumar, Bar President Pramod Pujari and other judicial officials jointly lit the lamp.
This time a total of seven benches were formed in the National Lok Adalat. Bench No. 1 was formed under the leadership of Principal District and Sessions Judge Rajendra Bahadur Pal to dispose of cases like motor vehicle accidents, family disputes, civil appeals. First District and Additional Sessions Judge Akhilesh was appointed to dispose of cases related to electricity. Bench number 2 was formed under the leadership of Kumar Tiwari. Bench No. 3 was formed under the leadership of Suchita Nidhi Tigga for amicable criminal cases. Bench No. 4 is under the leadership of Senior Judge Archana Kumari for Motor Vehicle Act cases, Commerce How Certificate cases etc. Bench No. 5 is under the leadership of Judicial Magistrate Pooja Kumari Lal and Raj Kalyan for loan related problems of various banks, BSNL etc. And 6 were formed. Whereas for consumer related matters, Bench No. 7 was formed under the leadership of Nandlal Prasad.
This time a total of 2575 cases were processed in the National Lok Adalat, while Rs 4.30 crore was recovered as penalty. Of the resolved cases, a total of 205 cases were pending in various courts. The Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Shri Rajesh Kumar along with his entire team remained ready for the successful operation of the Lok Adalat. The program was conducted by Judicial Magistrate Suchita Nidhi Tigga. The last National Lok Adalat of the year was concluded with the national anthem and vote of thanks.
